What We Want

Compare Hosting exists to help users with hosting, be that finding hosting using our comparison engine, saving money with our coupons and deals, or gaining information from our blog.

As such we're looking for submissions which educate and help users, whilst being well written and engaging.

Word length

On the short side...
There is no minimum word length requirement for submissions. However, please bear in mind that we are aiming to publish definitive content, so detail is a virtue.

On the long side...
We are happy to consider individual submissions which may require splitting into multiple posts and also ideas which may require a series of posts.

Original content

All submissions must be original. We won't publish content already published elsewhere.

We're open to topic suggestions, although we focus on:

What You Get

Writing for Compare Hosting is a great way for you to gain exposure as a writer, build authority, and develop an audience.

Author biography

Authors receive accreditation in their post's byline (i.e. 'by My Name on...').

Authors can also post a short biography in the 'About the author' section found at the end of their post (see the blog for examples).

The 'About the author' section can contain:

• an image - up to 50px x 50px in size
• text - up to 300 characters in length
• up to three links

Publicity by us

Blog posts are publicised by us on our Twitter accounts, Facebook page, LinkedIn page etc. and also in our monthly newsletter. In all cases authors will be accredited and linked to.

How To Submit

Please email us your submission.

Submissions should be in the form of either a Microsoft Word doc, text file, or HTML file.

If your submission contains images, please submit them as separate attachments and clearly reference them from the main post body.

We will review all submissions within one week of receipt and let you know.
